Fox news channel has been having fun parading  Paula Abeles on their various channels.  Paula is a former Hillary supporter and when Obama became the presumptive Democratic Presidential candidate she switched and is now supporting McCain.  Now, Paula says, she has been receiving threatening calls from Obama supporters at all hours of the night.

From the interviews I have seen she states that the people are unidentified and that many of the calls were just hang-ups.  Maybe I need to adjust my tinfoil hat a little but please show me the evidence that Obama supporters are doing this and not some neo-con fringe group trying to drum up some bad press towards the Obama camp.  Conspiracy theory..maybe but we have seen crazy things happen in heated political campaigns and I wouldn’t put it past some people.  This is not to say that I think that McCain and his people have been doing this.  I don’t think that at all.  But isn’t there a chance this could be coming from some right-leaning fringe groups?

And to jump back to Fox for a minute, they seem to be loving this.  Every day I see some story FNC puts up on former Clinton supporters and other Democrats who are jumping party lines and are now supporting McCain instead of Obama.  The talking heads love to find these stories and ask “Is the Democratic party crumbling” or “did the drawn out primary make the Democrats implode?”  Give me a break.

You know what I don’t see stories of?  The Republicans who are jumping ship and are supporting Obama instead of McCain.  Where are those stories guys?  Wouldn’t it be fair and balanced to tell both these stories?  Come one, have someone from Republicans for Obama each time someone did the Clinton to McCain jump.

And if that wasn’t enough - I know some are saying “enough you have gone on too long already about this.  We get it you don’t like Fox News so please stop watching!”  Here is a fair and balanced look at their political blogs from this morning.  Hmm, I wonder if there is a pattern here:
